GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Welcome to the on-line 53 Hour Foster Parent Education Program,
which consists of fourteen training modules. Foster Parents need to
read through and complete the specified exercises within each module.
Upon completion of the module Foster Parents are required to fill out the
question sheet that pertains to the module they have just finished and
submit it to ICS. Your answers will be reviewed by the
Network Facilitators at Interior Community Services, Kari and Deb, who
upon review will contact you by phone to conclude the interactive portion
of the module. Once this process has been completed, you will then
be given credit for completion of that module.
Foster Parents may proceed
with the next module after submitting an answer sheet.

NOTES:
1) All modules are in the Acrobat (.pdf) format which requires
your machine to have a copy of Acrobat Reader on it. Most machines already
have the reader installed, but if not you can get a free copy at the
Adobe Acrobat site.
2) It is wise to
back up your work.
E-mail and data sent over the Internet can be lost because of a computer
malfunction or of a connection loss. To avoid disappointments, you should
back up any work you do. For instance, before pressing the "submit" button
on one of the Answer Sheets, open the File Menu and choose "Save As..."
to then save your work as a text (.txt) file to either your hard drive or to a
floppy disk on your machine. |
