The Family Preservation service is short term, intensive, outcome-focused assistance to families experiencing significant difficulties with parent-child or parent-adolescent challenges.
The Family Preservation program provides
- Family assessment, goal setting, intervention, and transition planning
- Short-term (6-8 weeks); intensive (6-10 hours/week); outcome-focused service
- Support to families to discover ways of finding their own solutions, make positive choices and decisions about their situations, and to utilize community resources
Who Is Eligible?
Any individual / family referred to the program is eligible.
How To Refer:
Referrals are made through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
