Shared kitchens where people come to cook and socialize in a fun environment while either learning new skills or passing on their own culinary knowledge.

Program Information

Shared kitchens empowers individuals and families to take control of their food to ensure healthy affordable food for all and leaves all with a sense of pride of what they have achieved.

The objectives of the Culinary classes are

  • To share the benefits of healthy eating
  • To teach low cost meal alternatives and where to access free local produce
  • To teach how to preserve and prepare healthy and nutritious food
  • To expand skills and promote food security

Kitchens can also be offered through a contracted basis to specific groups

Who Is Eligible?

Any community member is eligible.
