The Youth Center is a safe place where youth can overcome barriers, build positive relationships, develop confidence and learn skills for life. Learn More

Youth Living Programs

Better at Home
An umbrella of non-medical services aimed at seniors to assist their independence. Services include; grocery shopping assistance, food hamper delivery, farmers market nutritional coupon program, friendly visitors, good morning calls, yard maintenance assistance and light housekeeping. Learn More
Community Gardens
Community Gardens are fenced shared land divided into garden plots for use of anyone in the community who wishes to participate in the opportunity to grow their own nutritious and healthy produce. Learn More
Culinary Classes
Shared kitchens where people come to cook and socialize in a fun environment while either learning new skills or passing on their own culinary knowledge. Learn More
Food Sense
Food Sense is a 6 week program designed to create healthy meals at low cost with increased nutrition. A variety of recipes are taught and techniques including how to cook from scratch and how to modify recipes for a higher nutritional content. The program has been designed by dietitians and educators and built on Canada’s Food Guide. Learn More
Harvest to Home
A program designed to help process the donated food received by Mount Paul Community Food Centre. Donated food from the local grocery stores is sorted, recovered and processed at the centre to use in programming and to assist in combating food waste. The program is offered once a week and offered in partnership with the Kamloops Food Bank. Learn More
Meals On Wheels
The “Meals On Wheels” is a meal delivery program available to all persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves regardless of age or income. Learn More
Public Produce
A garden that is designed as a public space where community members are able to glean from and contribute to in an open park setting. This welcoming space is located in McDonald Park. Learn More
Children's Programming

Interior Community Services manages 16 portable rental subsidies within the community under 3 separate operating agreements. Learn More
