Better at Home - Nicola Valley

Interior Community Services is pleased to announce the Better At Home Program is now in the Nicola Valley. Better at Home offers an umbrella of services aimed to assist seniors, over 65 years old, in their independence by providing non-medical support services. Offered in partnership with the United Way Lower Mainland, this program will tailor our services to the senior population of Merritt.  For further information about our services or to become involved in the program, please contact the Program Coordinator, Amanda Pryzner-Dunn, at 250-280-3015

Interior Community Services staff, management and Board of Directors send their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Katherine McParland, Executive Director of A Way Home Kamloops. Her tragic and unexpected loss will be felt by the entire community.  Katherine will be remembered as a fierce advocate for youth homelessness and for her tenacious and passionate personality.  She was brave and brilliant and will be missed.

A HUGE thank-you to our local RBC Wealth Management Group for the generous donation of $2500 to our Meals on Wheels program!  Your kindness is very appreciated.
